Comtech SST maintains a 24x7, state-of-the-art, carrier-grade Network Operations Center (NOC) with a fully staffed 24x7 facility in our Seattle data center, plus a backup NOC facility in Phoenix. Our NOC is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2005, and TL 9000 R6.0-certified. The NOC provides wireless E9-1-1, VoIP E9-1-1, and NG9-1-1 services, upholds the high standards necessary for emergency services, and follows detailed provisioning and operations procedures to maintain availability at 99.999% within our network span of control. Celebrating its 15th consecutive year of certification by the Quest Forum, it is the only TL 9000-certified NOC for wireless and VoIP E9-1-1 services in the United States.
Our NOC is responsible for identification, troubleshooting, and internal and external notification of incidents, incident management, and problem resolution. Upon identification of a service-affecting issue, the customer should contact the Comtech NOC to open a trouble ticket. The NOC is housed in our Seattle data center, a facility credited with being one of the most energy-efficient data centers in the Pacific Northwest. Designed with a commitment to efficiency and innovation, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) recognized those efforts with a first-place regional technology award in 2011 and second place honors on the national level in 2013 for Category IV – Industrial Facilities or Existing Processes. The ASHRAE Technology Awards recognize outstanding achievements by members who have successfully applied innovative building design in the areas of occupant comfort, indoor air quality and energy conservation. Their designs incorporate ASHRAE standards for effective energy management and IAQ. Performance is proven through one year’s actual, verifiable operating data.
